Apple has something like 200+ patents (http://www.mad4mobilephones.com/the-21-most-important-iphone-patents/562/) for the iPhone. This could get bloody when Apple responds with additional counter suits. I would pity those called for jury duty to make sense of the technical minutia. The breadth of the patent portfolios will be too detailed to battle in court. They are presented primarily as a way of saying "back off!" Ultimately, cross licensing agreements are forged.

I've waited so long for the white iPhone 4 that I no longer care for an iPhone 4 and will simply wait for the iPhone 5. The delay in shipping the white iPhone 4 cost Apple a sale. It's not like my iPhone 3G stopped working when the iPhone 4 was released.

I thought it was very interesting to have a first hand experience. He seemed to offer two main arguments; torture isn't very effective, and it is morally wrong.
For me only the second point matters, I think too much emphasis is put on whether torture works or not. If it did would that make it right? I think the morality of it is much more important. Torture is wrong regardless of its utility.

Yes, it does support the new HD camera.
Photobooth takes photos in 720p, although video is done in 480. Strange.
At least, in the original DP2. 11A444d was very buggy for me with iTunes and Mail for some reason, had to downgrade, didn't think to try Photobooth then.

On my iMac, I have 2 internal hard-drives. I want to get time capsule but I only want it to sync ONE of those drives. Is that possible?
Yes, you can exclude drives from Time Machine backups (this has nothing to do with Time Capsules in particular).

no, iOS sends only to one thing at a time, but you can do it from iTunes.
You can then use the remote app on the iTouch to control iTunes. (and control the zone volume levels.

I'm not a big fan of mice with batteries and don't really need the wireless, so I was just wondering if someone would be willing to trade. Mouse is in excellent condition, barely used. Any of these possibilities results in a large number of iPads reaching a overstock and close out retailer like TJ Maxx etc...
Its not a big mystery or a great train robbery situation. And the reason they are probably available at limited locations would be a limited supply of an item (Still High Ticket despite the $100.00 Discount) being sold from a store where 95% of their stock is priced in a sub $10.00 per unit price point is going to be directed to markets where they are more likely to sell - Larger Cities, Stores in retail plazas with other high ticket resellers, and cities with a higher tech savvy population like Austin, Seattle, Dallas, Silicon Vally, New York City...
It the chain has more then 10K units to distribute thats when things get pretty unusual...

I have text messaging blocked on my account, so this would not be a good deal for me. Why would I want to pay $20/mo for text messaging when I can use Google Voice and pay nothing? The unlimited mobile to mobile would be nice, but not when it requires the text messaging plan. For those who DO have the texting plan already, then this is a very nice addition.

Anyone lining-up at either At&t or Apple at the Gardens Mall. I spoke with At&T today at the Mall and they said they are opening at 8AM on July 11th, even though the Mall doesn't officially open till 10AM.
